Not a sponsored post, but i think I should call myself lucky enough because i won a staycation for 2 Nights at Marina Bay Sands, the highly raved hotel with infinity swimming pool facing Singapore CBD area..
I’ve been dreaming for a staycation at Marina Bay Sands since the hotel completed and everyone pose with their awesome swimming pool. But i cannot bear to pay such a very expensive rate for a staycation in Singapore. As you already know that MBS hotel rate min $500++ per night for just a standard room.
Garden view room rate is cheaper than city view room rate. Of course CBD view more awesome!
So when i got the surprise that i won a staycation at this expensive hotel, i was super happy, it was really a dream come true! Not only a night but they gave me 2 nights to stay. We used it to celebrate our ROM 4th anniversary, which is fall on 31th July.
As you can see, the room is very spacious with the balcony and view towards Garden By The Bay. Didn’t expect that the room is very huge. The room deco is very classic and very romantic warm lighting.
Our room located at the center part of the tower, i wish it was high floor, but got this room also no complain.
We missed our first day sunset because we checked in when the sky already dark.
Bathroom is also very spacious, but no bathtub 🙁
Had our dinner at Din Tai Fung with my favourite Xiao Long Bao.. hubby treat me. And after that we just walked around The Shoppes at Marina Bay.
Walked around the pool too at night. So many people swimming.. And pool deck was so crowded! And oh, to come in to pool area you just need to tap you hotel access card.
Had my night dip for awhile.
DAY 2
Had a morning dip in the pool while waiting the first light came. Still a bit dark and less people. Always wake up very early during holidays..
Look at that million dollars view.. Love it!!!
With my pool essential: straw hat, sunglasses and flash tattoo!
Take more shoots since the crowd have not come yet!
And this is just a moment before a family approach me to take photos with me.. I am not an artist or model! I am just a tourist like them too!
And this is the view from pool deck lounge with Plumbago planting.
After had my pool dip, we had a warm jacuzzi dip.. Really want to stay here forever..
Do wake up early if you wanna get awesome photograph without people. The crowds here is crazy.
Day time view from our room..
Each balcony planter are planted with Bougainvillea, so lovely and cheefull.
The balcony is super spacious btw, fronting Garden By The Bay.
Oh during our staycation we also made a visit to nearby tourist attraction such as Garden By The Bay and ArtScience Museum. And of course took endless photos of OOTD everywhere with the city skyline.
We also had our hi tea buffet at The Fullerton, it’s just a walking distance from hotel.
And we finally managed to enjoy sunset with city view from hotel rooftop pool. The sunset is gorgeous. Don’t mention about the crowds tho.
The golden hour is major LOVE!
DAY 3
It’s our last day here.
Woke up very early in the morning for this shoots.
Went to infinity pool again for couple of shoots.
A bit gloomy that morning, but it has cool effect on the photo. Greyish kind!
And another warm Jacuzzi dip.. Hmm, life is sooo good!
And not forgetting shoots in our own room.
To end our staycation, we booked our lunch at CÉ LA VI.
From this restaurant you can also visit the Sky Park (free for hotel guest).
From the observation deck you can enjoy the view of city area.
Or if you like to drink, you can hangout at the sky bar, the view there is also awesome and there is open view towards the hotel swimming pool. The view towards the Infinity Pool can be enjoyed from the bar area.
The food portion is pretty decent and the taste is ok. But the price is too much for such a lunch. Well you may come for a view only, maybe order drink is enough.
We ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice.
And Massaman Curry. And the bill came around $100++
That’s sum up my staycation at MBS. Leave comments below if you have comments or questions.
If u ask me whether is worthy to pay such an exorbitant price to stay there? I can say if u hv spare money and for special occasion is ok, but i feel the hotel itself is kinda overrated. Too overcrowd!
Nevertheless, thanks MBS for complimentary staycation!
