If you wish to visit Morocco, but you are on budget, you can visit this Moroccan inspired Pavilion at Putrajaya, Malaysia. It is located at Putrajaya Botanical Garden complex and it’s just 30 minutes driving away from Kuala Lumpur town central, how convenient!
It was such a beautiful gem if you are looking a unique place for your instagram photoshoot. Moroccan inspired with a lot of intricate carving detail and tiles and there are a lot of beautiful spots for you to snap a perfect picture.

HOW TO GO THERE?
It will take quite awhile if you consider to take public transport, best you can drive or flag taxi or book grab.
From Sinar Kota, Kuala Lumpur, take Cityliner bus #868 from to Putrajaya. If you arrive in Putrajaya by train or other means, you may use the NadiPutra commuter buses to get to the Botanical Gardens. The pavilion is located within the gardens’ grounds.
TIPS
- Come early morning or late afternoon because this pavilion is quite open and quite hot in the day time.
- Bring smaller camera or just take photo with mobile phone because the security there are quite strict with recording. Otherwise you have to ask for permission and pay the fee if you intent to shot commercial or wedding.
- Don’t forget to visit other landmarks within this area, you can enjoy strolling Botanical Garden or visit the famous pink Mosque (Putra Mosque) and Putrajaya Lake.
Note: There is an entrance fee if you would like to visit inner part of Pavilion however beyond the entry point inside you are not allow to take picture anymore.
