Little House of Dreams is a homegrown bakery specialising in bespoke cakes and dessert tables. It was the first bakery to officially offer dessert tables with customised sweet treats and gorgeous table styling. From an online store in 2008, to the 1st brick and mortar bakery in 2012, the brand has since expanded into a flagship bakery bistro at the heart of Dempsey Hill.
Little House of Dreams now offers a comprehensive menu selection, ranging from hearty baked meals to tantalising grilled meats and a selection to suit juniors’ unique appetites. The refurbished venue features a 4-metre long dessert display counter and is also perfect for intimate life events such as weddings and birthday parties.
The cafe is very family friendly.. The seating area are very spacious and there are a lot of nice spots to take photos.
They also display their cakes and desserts for customer to choose.
All look so great, pretty and mouth watering.
Displays are almost on every corner of the cafe.
So here are some dishes we tried there..
Chilli Crab Bun [$19.90] and Truffle Fries [$12.90]
All the bun served on this cafe are made by their own bakery. No wonder it’s so fresh, fluffy and buttery.
I wish that Chili Crab flavour have more kicks, but overall the sauce is goes well with bun.
The truffle fries is pretty decent but sadly that the serving is not much.
Portobello Fritters [$12.90]
This portobello fritters is crispy outside and soft/chewy inside like the way i expected it used to be. It goes well with creamy mayo sauce.
Chicken Bites [$13.90]
Didn’t expect from it’s look that this Chicken Bites is actually har cheong gai (prawn paste chicken) which usually we find as chicken wings. This chicken bites is very tasty and really addictive.
Spaghetti Laksa Prawn [$26.90]
Another fusion dish they have, but i couldn’t really taste the laksa. But overall the prawn are very fresh and succulent and the serving is very generous.
Seabass with Salad [$34.90]
The seabass meat a bit too dry, as i would prefer more juicy meat. The potato served in cylinder shape remind me of scallop. But overall the sauce and the salad taste tangy and able to go well with the fish.
Pork Ribs with Salad [$32.90]
One of my favourite.. The ribs’ meat are very tender and easily came off from the bone. And the ribs is well marinated. I really love the BBQ sauce.
Pulled Pork Sandwich [$17.90]
Another favourite.. The pulled pork serving was very generous, frankly speaking it can consider as the best pulled porks sandwich i’ve ever tried. The meat is well marinated with sweet sauce and it’s very tender. And their homemade bread is super fresh too..
Look at those whole chunks of pulled pork meat.. Looks damn good!
The Drinks: Green Garden, Citrus Kick, Berry Passion, Pink Passion, Lavender Blue, Sunny Day [$8.90 each]
All of them are very refreshing. The fruits inside each drink are homemade from scratch where they made the fruit into the ice cube. There are a lot of efforts behind a simple look.
Rainbow Pancakes with Ice Cream [$13.90]
Interesting look dessert and the most instagram worthy on the cafe. Look at those colourful layering of the pancake. Really goes well with the caramel sauce and Ben Jerry’s vanilla ice scoop.
Ice Cream Burger [$14.90]
The look can be very deceiving, but this is really good. The ice cream so creamy and chocolatey.
Creme Brulee [$14.90]
The creme brulee is very milky and creamy. But i found that the caramel layer on top is a little bit too thick, perhaps thinner will be better.
So pretty…
Cake on pot..

Cake in the jar…
