Sweet Monochrome

Gosh.. This week such a busy week for me, lots of things need to follow up and suddenly boss gave me new project.. Ok i am getting excited of it, but actually wishing that wouldn’t come on this “holiday mood period”.. Yup i am looking forward to see my mom and my brother at my hometown.. Hope i can wrap up my work nicely before christmas holiday.. Jia you!

This shoot taken last week, just before the rain. Gosh everyday is raining.. T.T can’t take so many OOTD and make me and my hubby super lazy to go out during weekends..

Actually i was wearing this outfit on Saturday when we attend a lunch wedding, but bcoz everything was too rush then we didn’t have time to take OOTD..

This look actually so casual and simple, the main point are the houndstooth skirt pattern and the cut out detail on the crop top.. I feel houndstooth pattern trend is coming back and crop top trend seems like never end.. 😀
Talking about houndstooth, i dig this from wikipedia.. Haha..
Houndstooth, hounds tooth check or hound’s tooth (and similar spellings), also known as dogstooth, dogtooth or dog’s tooth, is a duotone textile pattern characterized by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes, often in black and white, although other colours are used.

The flare skirt make the look more feminin yet playfull..
And the material is soooo comfotable.. It’s not made from tweed like usual houndstooth is.. It’s from semi elastic cotton mixed poly material..
I think it’s hide my tummy LOL and make the overall look so flattering.. I love it..

Just a bit tips.. Due to raining season maybe you can pair the skirt with plain colour knit sweater (cream or black colour), it will create more sweet look.. 🙂
