It is very clear differences in appearance, macarons and macaroons.. Even both are meringue based, but they are made from different ingredients.
Oh when talking about macarons, i am super happy bcoz Ladurée (French pronunciation: [la.dy.ʁe]) just opened their shop in Singapore at Takashimaya..
Actually before they open here, I wish to have it at Paris as we plan our honeymoon there..
I am very excited to try.. And queing as well (@.@)” everytime there is new brand/stall or anyting just invaded to Singapore it will always be hit of town and peeps are q-ing like crazy..

I get box of 6 macarons:
– Salted caramel
– Marie antoinette
– Raspberry
– Rose petals
– Vanilla
My favourite will be Rose Petal and Marie Antoinette.. 🙂
This two flavour had their own fragrance and taste really unique..
Salted caramel for me is too sweet and vanilla too common.. Oh ya if you prefer something different, raspberry flavour really not bad, sweet mixed with sour of raspberry jam..
Ladurée comes with very cute and vintage design box.. The smallest shall be box of 6.. Think when u buy those macarons with box you also need to pay for the box, bcoz normal price for macaron is only S$4.90, but when i bought box of six i need to pay S$36.. Well consider luxury food for me haha.. Shall bite it very slowly, milimeter by milimeter and enjoyed it.. 🙂
